He was born August 26, 1932, in Bascom, to Elmer and Erma (Boes) Gosche.  He was pre-deceased by his wife, Margaret Loretta Gosche (Wechter) who passed away January 20, 2015.

Viola was born March 27, 1928, in St. Stephens to Edmund and Rose (Faeth) Wurm.  She married Florus U. Schalk October 8, 1955, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, New Washington. He died November 14, 2012.
