James Sbelgio Obituary

James Franklin Sbelgio, 60, of Tiffin, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at his residence.

James was born September 6, 1963, in Auburn, New York, to Frank A. and Elaine G. (Wyant) Sbelgio, and his mother survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his mother, a son, Vincent Sbelgio of the United States Air Force, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, who followed in his father’s footsteps in the U.S. Airforce; a brother, Steven (Kim) Sbelgio of Auburn, NY; a sister, Nancy Sbelgio of Tiffin; and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank A. “Frank Barber” Sbelgio.

James was a 1981, graduate of Williamsport Area High School and Jim will always be remembered as a loving and devoted father, son, and friend.  He served honorably in the United States Airforce before pursuing a career as an industrial electrician at National Machinery.  Jim enjoyed nothing more than a day on the water fishing or a Sunday spent at a Cleveland Browns game (even if they would often let him down).  James will be commemorated as a generous and kind man who always made his home feel like a home for everyone.
