Betty Jane (Biller) Snyder, age 91, died at 7:44 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2023, at Good Shepherd Home Assisted Living Facility, Fostoria.
Betty was born March 17, 1932, in Tiffin, to Benjamin Franklin and Dorothy Catherine (Runion) Biller. She married Willard Calvin “Woody” Snyder on June 11, 1952, in Caseeta, Georgia, and he died on April 2, 2022.
Survivors include two sons, James A. (Bonnie) Snyder and Daniel R. Snyder; a daughter, Deborah (Stephen) Weber, all of Tiffin; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Snyder of Kentucky; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Janet) Biller of Tiffin; two sisters, Eunice (Roy) McCullum of Fremont, and Thelma (Michael) Weller of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Calvin Snyder; a grandchild, Eric Snyder; a brother, Franklin Biller; and two sisters, Louis Smith, and Bernita Watkins.
Betty was a 1950 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, a member of the Bettsville Fire and EMS Ladies Auxiliary and Faith United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother.
Visitation for family and friends will be 9-11 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2023, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2023, at the funeral home, with Rev. Gary Hicks officiating. Entombment will take place following the service in Seneca Memory Mausoleum.
