Victor Anthony Wurm

Victor Anthony Wurm, 90, a lifelong resident of Tiffin, died at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at Elmwood at the Shawhan, Tiffin.

Born Aug. 30, 1935, in Crawford County, Ohio, to Alphons John and Rose (Ruffing) Wurm.

He married Marilyn K. Boner on Jan. 5, 1957, at St. Mary Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on Jan. 30, 2009, after 52 years of marriage.

Vic is survived by his companion, Jane Boehler; two sons, Randy (Jill)Wurm of Delaware, Ohio, Timothy Edward Wurm of Tiffin; two daughters, Victoria Miracle of Tiffin and Andrea

(Tim) Ball of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Ashley King, Rachel Keenan-Wurm, Andrea Wurm, McKenzie Fleurima, Austin Ball, Madison Ball; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Holmer of Attica, and Lucille Mirtis of Bellevue, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Clement, Arnold, Robert and Bernard Wurm; a sister, Agnes Depinet; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Wurm.

Vic grew up locally and was a 1954 graduate of Chatfield Village High School. He was inducted into the Buckeye Central Hall of Fame for basketball. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He worked for many years as a superintendent for Alvada Construction and previously for Kirk Bros. Construction and Focht Bros. Construction. He was a man of strong faith and a hard worker.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025, St. Mary Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Jesse Chick. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
