THOMAS A. KRAMER

Thomas A. Kramer, 81, of New Riegel, died at 9:40 p.m., November 12, 2012 at his residence.

Thomas was born to the late Charles and Christine (Gerber) Kramer March 20, 1931 in Seneca County. He married Louise Clara Welly on November 28, 1959 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel and she died March 12, 2012.

He is survived by three sons, Rev. Scott Kramer, C.PP.S. of Sorrowful Mother Shrine, Bellevue, Timothy Kramer of New Riegel and Matthew (Amy) Kramer of New Riegel; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Mitchell Kramer; three sisters, Alice Engle of Nanuet, NY, Joan Stransky of Dear Park, Texas, and Stephanie Rodrigues of Houston, Texas.

He is preceded by four sisters, Mary Miller, Stella Carver, Doris Roepke, Lois Baltz and a brother, Frederic Kramer.

Thomas was a 1949 Scipio-Republic High School graduate. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War.  He worked for Focht Brothers Constructions and for the New Riegel Local Schools.  He was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, the Knights of Columbus and the New Riegel American Legion #354.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-3113.

Prayers will be said at 10:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, followed by the Mass at 11:00 a.m. at  All Saints Parish, New Riegel, officiated by his son, the Rev. Scott Kramer.  Burial is immediately following in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel. The New Riegel American Legion will perform military rites at the grave site.
