Steven was born October 5, 1952 in Tiffin to John F. and Eileen (Mitchell) Borer.
Survivors include his mother, Eileen Borer of Tiffin; three brothers, Daniel Borer of Anchorage, Alaska, Timothy (Nanette) Borer of Bowling Green, Thomas (Kim) Borer of Bradner; a sister, Angela (Clem) Yaskowitz of Peoria, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Steven was a 1971 graduate of Calvert High School and graduated from Terra Technical College. He was a self-employed master electrician and owner of Midnight Electric. He had a love of the outdoors especially white water rafting and bicycling.
Private family services will be held in Tiffin at a later date.
