Sister Bernard Heydinger, age 92, of the Sisters of St. Francis, Tiffin, Ohio, died May 5, 2001. She was born January 5, 1909, in New Washington, Ohio, to Bernard and Lidwina (Burger) Heydinger. She took her final vows in 1940, and served as a housekeeper, cook, and kitchen supervisor at various locations around the Toledo Diocese, the longest being the St. Anthony Villa in Toledo. Burial will be in the convent cemetery. There will be a Wake Service at 7:00 PM Monday at the Convent Chapel.
