She was born April 23, 1934, in Tiffin, to Clarence J. and Marie (Buchman) Welter.
She is survived by two brothers, Dr. Joseph Welter of Maui, Hawaii, and Thomas Welter of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and five sisters, Martha Laughlin of San Antonio, Tex., Marjorie Troyan of Raleigh, NC, Eugenia Sanders of Warren, Ohio, Geraldine Sparks of Beaverton, Ore., and Rosemary Sanders of Erie, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Donald and James Welter, and four sisters, Alice Sanders, Elizabeth Skopek, Janet Williams, and Sister Carolyn Welter.
Sister Marilyn was a graduate of Calvert High School and was a teacher.
Graveside services will be 1 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014, in St. Joseph Cemetery, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. There will be no visitation.
