Ruth Mary Goshe, 94, formerly of Westwood Drive, Tiffin, died at 6:15 pm Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Autumnwood Care Center.
She was born December 12, 1915, in Big Spring Township, Seneca County, to the late Nicholas and Florence (Schalk) Hoffbauer. She married Maynard F. Goshe at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, in 1938. He died August 23, 1988.
There are no immediate survivors.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus Hoffbauer, and a sister, Hazel Houck.
Mrs. Goshe was a 1934 graduate of New Riegel High School and retired as a welder at General Electric Company. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the G.E. Club, and the G.E. Quarter Century Club.
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113 where a wake service will conclude visitation at 5 p.m. Sunday. Visitation at the church will be 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 all at All Saints Parish, with Rev. Randy Geisige officiating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, New Riegel. The Rosary will be recited in church 20 minutes prior to Mass.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care or to a charity of the donor’s choice, in care of Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory.
