Rosemary Brickner, 81, of W. Findlay St., New Riegel, died at 9:20 pm Friday, August 26, 2011, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

She was born June 17, 1930, in Tiffin, to Robert and Bonnie (DeTrou) Huffmon. Bonnie died in 1937 and Robert in 1945. After the death of Rosemary’s father, she made her home with her grandmother, Mary (Fate) Huffmon. She married James E. Brickner June 17, 1950 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin by the late Rev. Peter Brickner C. PP.S. James died January 24, 1995.

Surviving are a son, Robert (Mary Ellen) Brickner of Alvada; four daughters, Beth Ann Clark and Becky (David) Nye, both of Findlay, Bonnie (Hugh) Morrison of Bedford, Tex., and Brenda (Jay) Myers of Fostoria; six grandchildren, Tiffany Morrison, Nickolaus Morrison, Bethany (Pat) Boehler, Brihanna Myers, Bret Nye and Matthew Nye; and a sister, Patricia (Melvin) Hossler of Tiffin. She also leaves her beloved dog, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Amlin.
Mrs. Brickner was a 1948 graduate of Calvert High School. She was a homemaker and a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, and its Rosary Altar Society.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. A Wake service will be 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Prayers will be said at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday August 31 at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in All Saints Parish, New Riegel, with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to Mass.
Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation,  Bridge Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory.
