Ronald Eugene Wurm

Ronald Eugene Wurm, 73, of Tiffin, died 6:42 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2015, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus.

He was born Apr. 14, 1942, in Tiffin to Joseph and Marcella (Buchman) Wurm.  He married Patricia Kessler, Nov. 29, 2003 in Fort Seneca and she survives.

His children include, a daughter, Cheri Wurm who preceded him in death; a daughter, Terri Niedermier of New Washington; a son, Ed (Stephanie) Wurm of Attica; two step-sons, Dwight (Amy) Zender of Bloomville and Brian (Sara) Zender of Upper Sandusky; a step daughter, Amy Blair of Sycamore; five grandchildren, Grant and Weston Niedermier, Cole, Clint and Carson Wurm; 16 step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; two brothers, Gilbert (Leila) Wurm of Bloomville and Harold (Rose) Wurm of Willard; a sister, Barb Vogel of Republic; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Dick.

He is also preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Wurm and a brother-in-law, Dean Vogel, Sr.

Ronald was a 1960 Attica High School graduate.  He was a lifelong farmer and a distributor for NaChurs Fertilizer.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and he enjoyed spending time at Auburn Lake Campground. Ron and Pat enjoyed traveling, visiting all the continental United States.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2 -7 p.m. Wed. Oct. 14, 2015 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. A wake will be at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thurs. Oct 15, 2015 at the funeral home followed by the Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Gary Walters.  Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn or to St. Mary Church in care of the funeral home.
