He was born August 16, 1950, in Tiffin, to Lester and Thelma (Huffman) Breidenbach. He married Susan Kokosky in 1968, and they later divorced. He then married Kathryn Beck in 1980, and she survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Paul (Kristina) Breidenbach of New Castle, Del., Rick (Amy)Breidenbach of Tiffin, Cory (Sandi) Hertel of Findlay, Chad Breidenbach of Fostoria, and Marcus Breidenbach of Tiffin; three daughters, Candace (Eric) Linn of Hamden, Conn., Renee (Kyle) Brents of Weston, and Tracy Williams of Bascom; 19 grandchildren, Jason & Justin, Joshua, Noah, & Jakob, Kayla & Nickolas, Logan & Alayna, Chelsey, Dillon, Gracie, Gavyn, & Abigail, Andrew, Brianna, Adam, Samantha, & Nicole; one brother, Jim (Carol) Breidenbach of Tiffin; and four sisters, Sue (Steve) Wilson of Loudonville, Nancy Breidenbach of Tiffin, Regina (Mark) Huffman of Tiffin, and Mary (Dan) Stoyanovich of Erie, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Breidenbach.
Ron was a 1968 graduate of Calvert High School and was an electrician at Jeep-Chrysler in Toledo for 29 years. He was a member of the Tiffin Moose and enjoyed bowling, his fish aquariums, golfing, working in his yard, and auto racing. He especially enjoyed watching and spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, April 11, at Bascom United Methodist Church, with Pastor Cal Cook officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Tiffin.
