Rodger is survived by his companion, Sandra Spencley; a daughter, Kim Kistler (Guy Abbott) of Tiffin; a son, Ryan Richardson of Toledo; two grandchildren, Kaleigh and Kaden Abbott; a brother Rick Kistler of Wayne, Ohio; a sister, Bev Mosier of Tiffin; two stepbrothers, Joe Farabee of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Robert Farabee of Texas; and a stepsister, Shar Lynn Garno of Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by four infant brothers; one infant sister; one stepbrother and one stepsister.
Rodger was a 1973 graduate of Columbian High School. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation,
Clyde
,
Ohio
. Rodger was a member of the Amvets, the VFW and a lifetime member of the Eagles.
Visitation with the family will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 12 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-3113.
The Funeral service for Rodger will be at
11 a.m.

Saturday, August 13, 2011
at the funeral home, with Rev. Jan Kucera officiating. Burial will be in
Greenlawn
Cemetery
at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
