Robert J. Bour, 77, of Clinton Avenue, Tiffin, died 1:41 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital Emergency Room. He was born October 3, 1933 to Paul and Marie (Marx) Bour in Seneca County. He married Dorie Eaton in St. Mary Catholic Church, April 8, 1988 and she survives.

Other survivors include four sons, John and Mike Bour of Tiffin, Peter (Melinda) Bour of Franklin, Ohio, and Thomas (Sue) Bour of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Jane (Jerry) Bischoff of Warsaw, Ind.; a step-son, David Eaton of Tiffin, three step-daughters, Julia (Tom) Moffett of Tiffin, Ann (Taka) Kobayashi of Lexington, Ky. and Connie Gibson of Port Clinton; four grandchildren, Olivia, Melissa and Preston Bour, and Braden Bour; six step-grandchildren, Joshua (Stacy) Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Kellie Latham, Kento and Mariya Kobayashi, and Charelle Eaton; seven great-grandchildren, Jared, Skyla and Lillian Johnson, Jessie and Jayden Johnson, Bryce and Keyera Latham; and a brother, Paul (Cora) Bour of McCutchenville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary Bour who died in 1968.

Bob graduated from McCutchenville High School. He served in the United States Army. He retired from Webster Manufacturing after 38 years in shipping and receiving. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Tiffin Eagles.

Visitation with the family will be 3-8 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 with a Wake Service at 2:30 p.m. at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Walters officiating. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be immediately following in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery with military services conducted by the United Veterans Council of Seneca County.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Seneca County School of Opportunity Center or a charity of the donor’s choice in care of Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory.
