Other survivors include a son, Tom Smead of Lambertville, Mich. and a daughter Rebecca Smead of Milwaukie, Ore.; two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; two sisters, Marilyn Miller of Tiffin and Marie Bennett of Sylvania.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Smead, two sisters, Dorothy Szczublewski and Virginia Carr; and an infant brother, Raymond Smead.
Bob served in the United States Marine Corps from 1945 – 1946. He was retired from railroad work.
At Bob’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
