Ricky L. Folk

Ricky L. Folk, 61, of Tiffin, died at 9:43 pm Monday, July 7, 2025, at Advanced Specialty Hospital, Toledo.

He was born in Tiffin, April 26, 1964, to Paul E. and Mary Ann (Matthews) Folk.

He is survived by a brother, Monty Folk of Tiffin; two sisters, Brenda (Mike) Koepplinger of Holland, Ohio, and Julie (Kevin) Clark of Dewey, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Linda Keckler; nieces and nephews, Robbie Nickel, Adrian Miller, Alison Urban, and Josh Steinmetz; a step-brother, Bill (Lynn) Forstner, and two step-sisters, Darlene Forstner and Jessica Forstner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Henry “Whitey” Forstner, brother-in-law, Ray Miller, a nephew, Arlington Miller, a brother, Larry Keckler, a sister, Linda Sue Keckler, and a step-sister, Cheryl Forstner.

Ricky was a 1982 graduate of Columbian High School and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Bainbridge and the USS San Jose. He was a local taxi driver and had worked in various factories.

He loved watching the family shows of yesteryear and playing on the computer and playing games on his phone. He was the kindest soul and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved everyone deeply.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 11 am until 1 pm, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home, with burial following in Fairmont Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, F.A.C.T., or the United Veterans Council of Seneca County.
