Rena G. (Murray) Goshe

Rena G. Goshe, 73, of Tiffin, died at 12:57 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at her residence. She was born May 17, 1950, in Tiffin to Roger A. and Gaetta (Hoffert) Murray. She married Leonard C. Goshe May 21, 1982, in Tiffin, and he survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Leonard (Cari)  Kummerer of Columbus, Ohio, Eric Goshe of Tiffin, and Brett Goshe of Boston, Massachusetts; three grandsons, Ethan Goshe, Owen Goshe and Evan Kummerer; two brothers, Roger A. (Sue) Murray, II, of Tiffin and Patrick W. Murray of Huron; a sister, Kathleen (Frank) Young of Tiffin and a brother-in-law Thomas Marco of Circleville, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Marco.

Rena was a 1968 Calvert High School graduate. She had retired as a secretary from Mercy Tiffin Hospital and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a collector of frog figurines, was an avid fan of NASCAR and racing, and she enjoyed bowling. She prided herself in fitness and fashion. She loved reading books and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her sisters.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023, at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Rev. Thomas Abraham will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in church 30 minutes prior to Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice or to Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.
