Patricia May Wurm, 73, of Tiffin, died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Elmwood at the Shawhan. She was born August 4, 1950, in McCutchenville, to Raymond F. and Esther T. (Goshe) Kessler. She first married Paul L. Zender, Jr. April 25, 1970, and later Ronald E. Wurm, November 29, 2003, in Fort Seneca, Ohio. Ronald died October 12, 2015.
She is survived by two sons, Dwight (Amy) Zender of Bloomville, Brian (Sara) Zender of Upper Sandusky; a daughter, Amy Blair of Bucyrus; 22 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren a step-son, Ed (Stephanie) Wurm of Attica; a step-daughter, Terri Niedermier of Willard; three brothers, Donald Kessler of Delaware, Ohio, David Kessler of Johnstown, Michael Kessler of Tiffin; five sisters, Rose Marie Fox, Virginia Trytko and Margie Ruppright all of Findlay, Alice McDermott of Sycamore and Mary Romig of Tiffin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers, Harold, Gerald, Richard, and James Kessler.
Patricia was a 1968 graduate of Mohawk High School, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She was a homemaker and had worked at General Electric and later the Pharm. She and Ron enjoyed spending time with their family, traveling, and spending time at Auburn Lake Campground.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Matthew Rader will officiate. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
