Oleta Mae Reinhart, 89, formerly of Seneca House and Kiwanis Manor, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017, at St. Francis Home.

She was born February 4, 1928, in Seneca County, to Frank and Adeline (Rogier) Tiell.  She married Walter J. Reinhart July 30, 1949, in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Frenchtown.  He died March 1, 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Andrew F. (Julie) Reinhart, and Allen (Suzanne) Reinhart, both of Tiffin; a daughter, Sharon (Todd) Walter of Columbus; seven grandchildren,  Amanda (Michael) Chapman, Ashley (Chad) Burger, Shane (Heidi) Walter, Melissa Reinhart, Greg (Katie) Reinhart, Nicholas Walter and Emily Walter; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Tiell of Tiffin; and a sister, Mary J. Frisch of Tiffin.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna M. Colvin, a son, Charles Reinhart, a sister, Agnes Ward, and a brother, Ernest Tiell.

Mrs. Reinhart attended New Riegel Schools and was a homemaker.  She was an avid bingo player, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, its Rosary Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, and a charter member of New Riegel American Legion Post 354 Auxiliary, and the Allen Eiry Senior Center. She loved to travel.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio  44883 (419)447-3113.  A Wake Service will be 2:30 p.m. and The American Legion service will be at 7 p.m. all at the funeral home.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church.  The Rosary will be recited in church 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Rev. Anthony Coci will officiate, with burial following in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
