Melvin Lewayne Dull, 91, formerly of 606 Miami Street, Tiffin, died at Wyandot County Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky on Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at 10:00 p.m. He was born on January 31, 1912, to Robert and Dorothy (Bourman) Dull. On May 4, 1932, he married Dorothy Malone, in Ripley, New York. She died on January 24, 1996.
He is survived by 1 son, Richard M. (Carol) Dull; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Betty) Francis and Mrs. Paul (Kathy) Wise; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 2 brothers, Donald Dull and George Dull.
He was preceded by 1 son, Jerry Dull; 1 daughter, Donna Jean Dull; 1 foster daughter, Patricia Keller; 1 brother, Emert Dull; and 1 sister, Bessie Birch.
Mr. Dull was a self-employed businessman, who owned Dull’s Auto Parts and retired in 1991. He was a member of Eagles and the V.F.W and St. John's United Church of Christ.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County or Donor’s choice. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery.
