Mary F. Felton, age 85 of Gross St., Tiffin, died at 3:13 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010 at her residence.

Mary was born to the late Louis R. and Bertha (Miller) Weinig on December 19, 1924, in Tiffin. She married William C. Felton October 20, 1951 in Tiffin and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2005.

Mary is survived by five sons; Tom Felton of Burbank, Calif., Mitch (Nadine) Felton of Tiffin, Jack (Kathy) Felton of Tiffin, Scott (Nancy) Felton of Morrow, Ohio and Dan (Kristi) Felton of Tiffin, one daughter, Barbara (Jim) Baumgardner of Lexington, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, Brian (Margo) Baumgardner, Will and Sara Baumgardner, Alyssa, Toria and Ari Felton, Andy, Mary Elizabeth and Zac Felton, Dean Felton, Richard Geiser, and Lauren and Mark Felton.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Martha Greek, an infant son, Mark L. Felton, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Felton.

Mary graduated in 1942 from Columbian High School; she then went on to earn her B.B.A. from Heidelberg College in 1946. Mary was a loving wife and mother. She was a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Penthouse Club, Heidelberg Fellows and she played in various bridge clubs over the years.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2010 with a wake service at 1:45 p.m. at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-3113.

Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Revs. Joseph Szybka, William Rose, Frank Murd, and Msgr. Edward Dunn officiating. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, Community Hospice Care or to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
