She was born October 27, 1924, in Philadelphia, Penn., to James and Catherine (Beatty) Pentony.
Survivors include a brother, James (Frances) Pentony of Tiffin; nieces and nephews, James (Karen) Pentony, Jr., Kevin (Diana) Pentony, Sean (Mary) Pentony, and Colleen (Rodney) Caswell; great nieces and nephews, Melissa, Jacob, Sara, Sarah, Riley, and Sydney.
Miss Pentony was a graduate of the John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls School of Philadelphia. She worked as head of sales at Abbott’s Dairy in Philadelphia, and also worked for Industrial Valley Frozen Foods, also of Philadelphia.
Funeral Mass will be 11 am Monday, March 12, 2012, at St. Francis Home Chapel, with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
