Marjorie Ann Riser, age 83, of James Street, Amherst, Ohio and formerly of Tiffin died at 12:04 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Elyria Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Marjorie was born in Tiffin to the late Charles “Bus” and Regina “Babe” (Schultz) McClead on September 24, 1926. She married Charles E. Riser on October 4, 1947 in St. Joseph Catholic Church of Tiffin and he died on November 12, 1979.

She is survived by one son; Charles (Donna) Riser II of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Lesa (Paul) Pellittieri of Amherst, and Kathryn (Ron) Fridland of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Mallery, Laura and Kacie Riser all of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one brother Eugene McClead of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Marjorie was a 1945 graduate of Calvert High School and retired from the General Electric Company of Tiffin. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Eagles, Moose and GE Watts all of Tiffin. Marjorie had resided with her daughter in Amherst since 1998 where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Amherst.

Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2010 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-3113.

Prayers will be said at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. The rosary will be said 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Joseph Cemetery of Tiffin.
