Marilyn M. Werling, age 66, of 530 Miami Street, Tiffin, Ohio and also a winter resident of Harlingen, Texas died 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2003 in Harlingen Med Center, Harlingen, Texas.
She was born on April 15, 1936 in Tiffin, Ohio to Carl S. and Margaret A. (Siebenaller) Bish. They do not survive. On October 29, 1955 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, she married Eugene J. Werling. He survives.
Other survivors include 2 sons, Thomas E. (Linda) Werling, of Fort Worth, Texas; Gary J. (Lisa) Werling of Perrysburg, Ohio; and 1 daughter, Cynthia A. (Vincent) Kirschner of Tiffin; 7 grandchildren; 3 brothers Carl E. Bish of Pensacola, Fl.; Charles E. Bish and Lester L. Bish both of Tiffin; 1 half-brother, Paul Bish of Phoenix, AZ; 2 sisters, Janet A. Robenalt of Tiffin; and Barbara J. Leirer of Panama City, Fl.; 1 half sister, Evelyn Holt of Tiffin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded by 1 step sister, Donna Moehlman and 1 half brother Kenny Bish.
Mrs. Werling was a 1955 Calvert High School graduate. She had retired as an administrative assistant at Heidelberg College, Tiffin. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, St. Anthony Catholic Church, Harlingen, TX. A member of United Commercial Travelers of America, Secretary of Cana Club at St. Mary Church, a Girl Scout Assistant; Auxiliary Coast Guard Member, Allen Eiry Senior Center, and the Rio Grande Valley Square Dancers.
