She was born Sept. 24, 1939 in Tiffin to Bernard (Benny) and Frances (Fleck) Borer.
She is survived by a son, Michael Lucius of Tiffin; a brother Louis (Barb) Borer of Tiffin; two sisters, Diane (Rocky) Moehrman of Tiffin, and Joey (Larry Nedolast) Borer of Fort Seneca, and her special friends, Rita Fitch, Mary Jane Fox, and Phyl Capucini.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a twin sister, Carolyn Borer and a brother Paul L. Borer.
Marilyn attended Calvert High School. She worked at Mercy Tiffin Hospital in laundry and housekeeping for 37 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and she enjoyed Bingo, painting, arts and crafts at St. Francis.
The funeral Mass will be noon Thursday, June 5, 2014 at St. Francis Home Chapel, 182 St. Francis Avenue, Tiffin with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial at a later date will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the Mass at St. Francis Home Chapel.
