Margarite Staib died November 6, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born February 25, 1911, in Findlay, Ohio, to Alva P. and Rose E. (Thornton) Wisebaker. She married Richard N. Staib on October 16, 1937, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio. He died July 11, 1981. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Eichner and Mrs. William (Virginia) Harrison, both of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, John Eichner, Lori Leyden, Andrew Harrison, and Sarah Harrison; and two great-grandchildren, P.J. and Luke Leyden.
Mrs. Staib was retired as a clerk at the S.S. Kresge Co. Store in Tiffin, after 30 years there. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Columbus, and formerly of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and its Rosary Altar Society. She had been a Girl Scout Leader at St. Joseph School at one time.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
