She was born
June 24, 1929

Fostoria
, to Isaac and Hazel (Rickerd) Rhoda, the second of three daughters. Margaret and Louis Tiell were married at St Joseph Catholic Church,
Tiffin
, on
September 2, 1950
. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary prior to Louie's death on
October 22, 2010
.
Margaret graduated from
Fremont
Ross
High School
in the class of 1947, where she played drum in the Concert and Marching band. She was a 1951 graduate of
Heidelberg
College
in
Tiffin
. She taught music at New Riegel,
Townsend
Township
and Old Fort schools. She also taught piano lessons at her home from her teens until retirement in 1991.
Mrs. Tiell was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in
Littleton
and had been a member of
St. Ann
's Parish, Fremont. She enjoyed cooking, various craft projects, sewing, entertaining and Airstream camping.
Survivors include her sons, Scott (Lori) Tiell of Bellevue, Neb., and Brian (Jenn) Tiell of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Marilyn (Jim) Clark, of
Fremont
, and eight grandchildren, Vanessa, Sarah, Rebecca, Abbey, Emma, Chloe, Korey and Ava Tiell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Helen (Rhoda) Widman.
