Mabel E. Brickner, age 89, of S. SR 53, Tiffin, died at 6:59 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
She was born September 15, 1921, in Seneca County, to Albert P. and Minnie C. (Hammer) Williams. She married Jerome J. Brickner February 1, 1947, in St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael A. Brickner of Tiffin, and George J. (Ann) Brickner of Findlay; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Nowell) York and Michelle Brickner; and two great granddaughters, Samantha and Sophia York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Albert M. and George J. Williams, and three sisters, Mary (John) Hohman, Mildred (Alfred) Lucius, and Lucille (Edward) Hohman.
Mrs. Brickner was a 1938 graduate of Columbian High School. She was a homemaker and gardener, and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Rev.
Gary Walters
officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in church 20 minutes prior to Mass.
