Lois Joan O’Rourke, age 80, of Kiwanis Manor, died at 9:55 pm, Friday, September 21, 2007, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
She was born August 10, 1927, in Lorain, Ohio, to the late George and Ann (Fry) O’Rourke.
There are no immediate survivors.
Miss O’Rourke was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Ladies and Mixed Choirs. She had also sung in the Kiwanis Manor Choir.
There will be no visitation. Her body has been donated to the Medical University of Ohio at Toledo. A Memorial Mass will be held at 8:30 am Saturday, March 7, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
