Laurel Belle Traunero passed away May 31, 2015. Laurel was born Sept. 13, 1915, in Pleasant Township, Seneca County, to Frank and Mary Alberta Hoover. She married Charles Traunero Feb.17, 1940.
She is survived by three children, Harold, Joseph and Kathleen; four grandchildren, Todd, Amy, Sean and Lindsey; and seven great-grandchildren, Audra, Jacob, Joseph, Jack, Olivia, MacKenzie and Lucas.
Laurel was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and her brother, Max Hoover.
She attended Old Fort High School and Tiffin Business College. In 1959, she moved to San Diego, California, where she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and watching her beloved Padres. She also loved cooking and enjoyed bowling.
Her memorial service will be held at a later date.
