Kevin was born March 28, 1965 in Tiffin to James and Barbara Ann (Roof) Simpkins.
He is survived by a son, Steven James Simpkins; a daughter, Brittany Jean Simpkins both at home; three brothers, Marty (Teresa) McQuistion of Tiffin, Duane (Laurie) McQuistion of Republic, David (Lois) McQuistion of Tiffin; three sisters, Karen House of Tiffin, Terry (Scott) Huffman of Green Springs, Marla McQuistion of Tiffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Kevin was a 1983 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and worked as Assistant Director of Circulation at the Advertiser-Tribune.
Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Old Trinity Episcopal Church.
Services will begin at 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Old Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Aaron Gerlach officiating. Entombment will be in the church columbarium.
