Kathryn was born November 21, 1918 in Fremont to the late Charles D. and Gertrude A. (Weiss) Schell. She married Harold L. Shultz June 25, 1949 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont. He survives in Tiffin.
Also surviving Kathryn is one son, Charles O. (Jana) Shultz of Milton, Ga.; four grandchildren, Nicole (Jay) Campbell, Wesley Shultz, Jessica Shultz and Derrick Shultz; and one step, great-granddaughter, Kiara Campbell. .
Kathryn graduated from St. Joseph High School, Fremont in 1936. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County. Kathryn was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin; the Rosary Altar Society; a past president of the Ladies of the United Commercial Travelers; the Moose Lodge; past president of the Lady Lions; the Allen Eiry Senior Center; and the T-Squares. She enjoyed playing cards and square dancing.

Services will be 11 am Saturday, April 7, at the funeral home, with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
