Kathleen M. Krupp, 84, of Tiffin, died at 8:19 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born on September 1, 1940, in Seneca County, to Irvin and Marie (Holman) Steinmetz. She married David A. Krupp on July 9, 1960, in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. David survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include three sons, David J. (Denise) Krupp of Bowling Green, Ohio, Robert E. (Jennifer) Krupp of Columbus, and Daniel P. (Beth) Krupp of Monclova; a daughter, Annette (Jim) Ryan of Tiffin; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Tom (Joan) Steinmetz of Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Douglas Krupp, two brothers, Joseph Steinmetz, James Steinmetz; and a sister, Marilyn (Larry) Hoffman
Kathy was a 1958 graduate of Jackson Liberty High School and retired in 2006 as clerk-treasurer for the village of Helena, Ohio, after 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an avid seamstress, crocheted afghan blankets for many, and enjoyed camping, winters in Florida, golf, shuffleboard, playing cards, and attending grandchildren’s activities.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millersville.
