Julia M. (Campbell) Barger

December 15, 1930 — April 23, 2018

Julia M. Barger, 87, of Tiffin, died peacefully at 2:40 am Monday, April 23, 2018, at Seneca House.

Julia was born December 15, 1930, in Morral, to Clifford and Thelma (Turney) Campbell. She married William W. Barger August 22, 1954 in Marion and he died May 5, 2005.

Survivors include a son, William W. (Sue Walter) Barger, Jr. of Marion; three daughters, Denise Ann (Charles) Szablewski, Diane Kay (John) Riehm, Deborah Sue (Donald) Ellis all of Tiffin; 11 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Dallas (Linda) Campbell of Morral, and an aunt, Mary Rae of Brush Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Bradley Barger who died in 1964.

Julia was a 1948 graduate of Morral High School, retired Co-owner of Miss Julie’s Restaurant, and a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed Swedish weaving, knitting, playing Bridge and Bingo and spent winters in Arizona for many years.

There will be no visitation, but there will be a public graveside service at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Marilyn Coney officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, Seneca House or a charity of the donor’s choice.
