Judith F. (Hade) Swander

Judith F. “Judy” Swander, 79, of Port Clinton, died at 4:57 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Randall Residence, Fremont.

Judy was born November 11, 1942, in Fremont, to Ora and Fern (Little) Hade. She married Paul R. Swander on May 28, 1966, in Fort Seneca, and he died on February 8, 2006.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin Swander of Port Clinton, and Scott (Brenda) Swander of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Jackie Leddick, Stephen (Nub) Swander, Kasey Swander, and Caden Swander; three great-grandchildren, Jase Zoeller, Aspen Leddick, Tyson Leddick; two brothers, Charlie Hade of Fremont, Larry Hade of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Tom Hade; and a sister, Barb Hefner.

Judy was a graduate of Old Fort High School and a homemaker. She was a member of the LaPointe United Methodist Church, Port Clinton.

Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Kent officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
