Joey M. Borer

Joey M. Borer, 68, of rural Tiffin, died at 1:15 am Friday, April 29, 2016, at her residence.

Joey was born Sept. 10, 1947 in Tiffin to Bernard L. and Frances (Fleck) Borer.

Survivors include a brother, Louis (Barb) Borer of Tiffin; her twin sister, Dianne Moehrman of Tiffin; her companion, Larry Nedolast and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joey was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul L. Borer; and two sisters, Carolyn Borer and Marilyn Lucius.

Joey was a 1965 graduate of Calvert High School and graduated from Terra Technical College.  She was an educational aide for Tiffin City Schools at Tiffin Middle School, had worked at the Riverview Restaurant and Shellshuckers Lounge, and was a former pre-school teacher at Tiffin-Seneca Day Care Center.  Joey was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.   Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the Mass at the church.
