Joanne June Sours

Joanne June Sours, 68, of rural Tiffin, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born in Port Clinton, on May 2, 1956, to Wayne A. and Amelia Emmalie (Lenz) Myers. She married Larry E. Sours September 30, 1972, in Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and he survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Chastidy (Brad) Sours-Huffman of Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer Whited of Toledo, Eliza (Sevrine) Smith of Decatur, Alabama, and Carrie (Greg) Elchert of Tiffin; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Sours was a homemaker and a former 4-H and Girl Scout Leader.

Private viewing and services will be held, with burial in Bethel (South Bend) Cemetery, McCutchenville.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County.
