Hubert G. Stickley

Hubert G. Stickley, 99, of Tiffin, died at 2:59 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

Hubert was born March 28, 1927, in Tiffin, to Irvin L. and Edith P. (Swaisgood) Stickley. He married Marian R. Oswald April 23, 1949, at Trinity United Church of Christ, Tiffin, and she survives.

Other survivors include a son, Matthew (Laura) Stickley of Tiffin; two daughters, Sharlene (Stephen) Houk of Tiffin and Tina Stickley of Alvada; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Lara, Joseph, and Samuel; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Brady, Charlotte, Mason, Noah, and Emma.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Margaret Aller and Carol Ward.

Hubert was a 1945 Columbian High School graduate, served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1946, was a farmer, and retired from the Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde after 38 years. He was a member of Trinity U.C.C.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-3113. Funeral Services will follow at 11a.m. with Rev. Karsten Snitker officiating. Burial will be at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin. The United Veterans of Fostoria will perform military services at the gravesite.
