Howard J. "Houckie" Miller, age 72, of Tiffin, Ohi, died July 30, 2001. He was born June 22, 1929 in Tiffin, to Nicholas and Augusta (Snyder) Miller. On January 8, 1955, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom, Ohio, he married Carole Stanfield, and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael J. Miller of Tiffin, a daughter, Cathleen Godfrey of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a half-sister, Dorothy Morris. Mr. Miller was a life-long farmer and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. Burial will be in Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, Ohio.
