Glady T. Spitler, 97, of Tiffin, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Autumnwood Care Center, Volunteers of America.
She was born on October 1, 1912, in Colorado County, Texas to the late Harry Ray and Carrie (McGee) Hayman. She married Noah L. Spitler on June 27, 1931. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Peg Spitler, Joyce Holmer and Alice Shrode all of Tiffin; and Maxine Philbrook of Cardington; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Bill, Ray and Tom Spitler.
There is no visitation. Mrs. Spitler donated her body to the Cleveland Clinic for the advancement of medical science.
The memorial service will be at 3:30 P.M., Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donna VanTrees officiating.
