He was born Nov. 12, 1952 in Fostoria, Ohio to Jack and Dorothy (Romig) White. He married Deanna Cooley, June 20, 1981 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin and she survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Brian (Tina) Holbrook of Omaha, Neb. and Aaron White of Tiffin; two grandchildren, Paige and Cole Holbrook; and a brother Gregg (Joann) White of Fostoria.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cheryl Keiffer.
Gary was a 1970 Fostoria High School graduate. He served in the United States Army from 1974- 1977. He was stationed in Germany during that time. He had retired after 22 years as a package car driver for the United Parcel Service and had also worked at Atlas in Fostoria.
Visitation for family and friends will be 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
The funeral will follow at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Joseph Szybka will officiate. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The United Veterans Council of Seneca County will perform military rites at the gravesite.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care, F.A.C.T., or to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
