Brevard - Maxine Baynard Ward, 64, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher, NC.
A native of Transylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Gudger and Ella Morgan Baynard. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Harley, Frank, Gerald and Max Baynard, one sister: Olean Cairnes.
Survivors include: four children Becky Parker of Marion, NC, Robby Ward of Sevierville, TN, Sendy King of Hendersonville, NC and Randy Ward of Murfreesboro, TN, two brothers: Conrad and Kenneth Baynard of Brevard, and one sister: Wanda Justus of Hendersonville, NC, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held11:00 AM, Friday, April 18, 2008 in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bradley Chappell and Rev. Mike McMillion officiating. Burial will follow at Gillespie-Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9 PM at the funeral home.
