Etho Marie Jumper, age 80, of Ella Street, died at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
Etho was born August 14, 1929, in Eden Township, to the late Marion O. and Alma M. (Hildebrant) Drake, Sr. She married Dale Jumper May 7, 1948, and he survives in Tiffin.
Etho is also survived by one son, David Allen Jumper of Tiffin; one daughter, Alice Marie Black of Foley, Ala.; one great-grandchild, Amanda Felicijian; and one brother, Marion O. (Joyce) Drake, Jr. of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Ralph Drake; and one sister, Doris Ruth Drake.
Etho was a 1948 graduate of Melmore High School. She retired after 33 years from General Electric as a winder. Etho was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church of Tiffin, the VFW Auxiliary, TOPS and G-Watts; she was also past president of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-3113. The Ladies Eagles Auxiliary will have a service at 7 p.m.
The funeral service for Etho will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 28, 2010 at the funeral home with the Rev. Donna Van Trees officiating. Burial will take place immediately following in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
