Estella Mae Kelbley, age 88, formerly of Franklin St.,Tiffin, died at 9:40 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011, at Ruffing Family Care Center, Tiffin.

She was born September 6, 1922, in Seneca County, to the late Benjamin and Clara (King) Berrier. She married Willis J. “Bill” Kelbley November 20, 1941, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom. He preceded her in death July 7, 1998.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley (Howard) Tiell of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Lisa Tiell, Cindy Myers, and Jeffrey Tiell; six great grandchildren, Chelsea, Brittany, Austin, Jennifer, Dalton, and Devin; and two sisters, Mary Jane Lang of Tiffin and Lucille (Clarence) Studer of New Washington.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, John and Benjamin Berrier, Jr.; four sisters, Annabelle Brickner, Marguerite Harshman, Geraldine Shelden, and Florence Williams; a half sister, Helen Lutz; and a great granddaughter, Jessica Lauren Myers.

Mrs. Kelbley worked at General Electric Company for 20 years, and then later retired from Essex Wire in Carey. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, with a Wake Service at 1:30 pm, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Prayers will be said at 9:30 am Thursday, March 10, at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 10 am, in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited in church 20 minutes prior to Mass. The Rev. Gary Walters will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, New Riegel.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or to St. Mary Catholic Church.
