Ervin was born July 10, 1923 in New Riegel to Ross and Rose (Brickner) Wagner. He never married.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Francis, Elmer, Maurice, Wilfred, Robert, Raymond Wagner; two sisters, Lenora Frankart and Esther Hark.
Ervin was a member of All Saints Parish of New Riegel. He was a self-employed broom-maker, played accordion in Frankart's Band and was a member of the New Riegel Moose Lodge.
Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 pm Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-3113, with a Wake service at 2:45 pm.
Visitation will also begin at 10:00 am Friday, August 15, 2014, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. The Rosary will be said 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel.
