Emelia was born May 16, 2013 in Tiffin to Nicholas (Jolene) Vassar and Jessica Carter.
She is survived by her father and mother; maternal grandparents, Kevin and Shannon Carter of Tiffin; maternal great grandparents, Jim and Pat Carter of Fort Seneca, Mike and Janet Wagner, Ray and Carol Kopp all of Tiffin; paternal grandparents, Paula (Steve Koebel) Vassar, Doug and Chris Vassar all of Fremont; paternal great grandparent, Carolyn Vassar of Fremont; four aunts, Michelle (Jose Navarro) Vassar of Fremont, Haley Carter, Macie Carter, both of Tiffin, April Ratliff of Fremont, an uncle, Matthew Vassar of Fremont; two half sisters, Savannah Ann-Marie Brown, Mersatiez Nikole Vassar and step sister, Martina Jolee Schleter all of Tiffin; and numerous cousins.
Emelia was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Don and Joyce Zucker.
Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 pm, Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883, 419-447-3113.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 1, 2013, at the funeral home, with Rev. Becky Jones officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
