Elisha Ann Boehler, 33, of Newport, Ky. and formerly of Tiffin, died at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, in Fort Thomas, Ky.

Elisha was born August 3, 1976 in Tiffin to Sharon Straub of Tiffin and Charles E. (Shelly) Simon-Straub of Toledo. She was married to Bobby Boehler from 1997 to 2005.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Brian Boehler II and Alexander Marcus Boehler, both of Findlay.

Elisha is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Georgetta Hursey and paternal grandmother, Madelyn Straub, both of Tiffin; one brother, Charles Paul Simon-Straub of Toledo; four sisters, Bethani (Andrew) Wilson of Bowling Green, Melanie Simon-Straub, Lea Simon-Straub, and Mikala Simon-Straub, all of Toledo; an aunt, Julia (Don) Cahill of Tiffin; four uncles, Edward (Hyonju) Straub, of Bettsville, Daniel (Robin) Straub, of Charlevoix, Mich., David (Jackie) Straub, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and Carl Zoeller of San Pedro, Calif.; a great aunt, Marianne Zoeller of New Riegel; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by a maternal step-grandfather, Loren Hursey; a paternal grandfather, Charles Straub; and two uncles, Michael Zoeller and James Straub.

Elisha graduated in 1994 from Columbian High School. She was a manager of Molly Malone’s Irish Pub and Restaurant in Covington, Ky. She was a student at the Culinary Institute at the University of Cincinnati, where she was studying Management and Pastry Chef. She enjoyed running circles in her head, literature, sarcasm, duct tape, debauchery, chaos, peaceful meditation, finding the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop, rainbows, handmade jewelry, mermaids, psychology, interesting people, good conversations, the outdoors, baking, baking, dreaming a little dream, wishing on stars, culture, drinks that have added antioxidants, mysteries, retinal disparity, music and arts, festivals, flip flops, sundresses, counting the freckles on her shoulder, and much much more.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-3113.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at St. Mary's Cemetery, with Pastor Bruce McDaniel officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Robert and Alexander Boehler Trust Fund in care of the funeral home.
