Eileen M. Stanton, age 77, of Tiffin, Ohio, died October 3, 2001. She was born Oct. 21, 1923, in
Warren, Ohio, to Glenn & Louise (Houke) Hess. She is survived by a son, Lawrence Stanton, a daughter, Saundra Jones, a brother, John Hess, 3 sisters, Edna Fretz, Audrey Horn, and Irene Martorana, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Dewayne, and Arthur Hess. Mrs. Stanton was a retired legal secretary from the firm of Supance & Howard, formerly Tomb and Hering. She had previously worked at the Seneca County Juvenile Court and the Nevada State Supreme Court. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Joseph Church, or Stein Hospice, Sandusky, Ohio.
