Edward "Bus" H. Lydey, 89, of Tiffin, died at 8:15 p.m. on August 6, 2000, at St. Francis Home in Tiffin. He was born to John and Gertrude (Mutchler) Lydey on April 26, 1911. On June 27, 1941 he married Clara Louise Hussey in Defiance, Ohio. She survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include, four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marcia) Tidwell, Barbara Lydey, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Woodford, and Mrs. Eugene (Deborah) Klara; 6 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded by 6 brothers, Emmitt, William, Harry, Woody, Charles, and John Lydey; and one sister, Margaret Lydey.
He was a 1929 Columbian High School graduate. He retired from ITT Sterling Abrasive Products. He enjoyed golf.
Burial will take place at Mexico Cemetery with a private family service.
