Doris was born December 29, 1923 in Niles, Ohio to Louis and Anna (Hamm) Kleinhenz. She married James R. Ricker June 1, 1942 in Tiffin. He preceded her in death May 14, 1991.
She is survived by a son, James B. (Susan) Ricker of Orland Park, Ill.; a daughter, Sandra Kay (Conrad) Hufford of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Robyn M. (Tyler) Wight of Findlay, Janine E. Ricker of Lake Oswego, Ore., David J. Ricker of Tinley Park Ill.; three great-grandchildren, Erica N. Tracy, Jordan R. Tracy and Cameron P. Wight.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Juanita Shellhouse and a brother, Donald Kleinhenz.
Doris was a 1941 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. She was an avid bowler for 60 years and league secretary for 45 years. She loved watching Cleveland Indians baseball and cherished family get-togethers. Doris was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tiffin.
Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883, 419-447-3113.
Her funeral will follow at 2:30 PM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Katie Treadway officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Birchaven Villiage in care of the funeral home.
